Jogjakarta-Solo-Bromo-Ijen Overland Tours

Day 1.

After breakfast visit Borobudur temple (a nine century Buddhist Mahayana monument in central Java and one of seven wonder's in the world) continue to Mendut and Pawon temple and then Merapi - Kaliurang, back to hotel.

Day 2.

After breakfast visit Sultan Palace and then Taman Sari ( water castle ) and museum Sono Budoyo continue to visit Batik factory - Kota Gede for silver and Prambanan Hindu's temple ( this magnificent Shivaite temple reputed to be the biggest Hindu temple in Indonesia ) back to hotel.

Day 3.

Jogya - Solo visit Keraton Mangku Negaran, antique market and Klewer market, check in hotel.

Day 4.

Transfer Solo - Bromo ( approx 10 hours ), check in hotel Lava view Bromo

Day 5.

Wake up call at 03.30 and then start the trip at 04.00 by 4 wheel jeep crossing the sea of sand to the top of mount Penanjakan to see one of the most spectacular sceneries in Indonesia, driving back to mount Bromo, It is time to climb the volcano through the stairway to heaven , when you are at rim of the crater make sure you are not too close to the smoke as it may cause dizziness, it can be dangerous in windy weather. back to hotel, b'fast, check out and continue to Ijen, late afternoon arrive in Ijen, check in hotel.

Breakfast at 05.00 am, drive to starting point Paltuding and climb up to the top of Ijen and see the spectacular scenery of the crater. When you are on top, you will be very much tempted to go down to the crater it self, guide will decide whether it is safe to go down and will give you a short brief how to brief with the mask in case the wind blows this very toxic gas to your face, back to your hotel check out and proceed to Ketapang harbor to cross to Bali. Tour end or continue with other trip in Bali .
